It was not possible for the Gobee Group project team to be in country and during fieldwork conducted in South Africa in 2021 due to the Covid pandemic. We commissioned Iske van den Berg and her team at Corporate Research Consultancy to conduct the fieldwork and consult with us on their findings.
Iske was personally involved in every aspect of the project and kept us up to date on a continual basis. She is passionate and professional, with a wealth of qualitative research experience and insight, which she ploughed back into our project. We were extremely pleased with the results.
Iske and her team approached the work in an innovative manner, yet they did not take any shortcuts. We appreciated their flexibility and proactiveness to get things done in difficult situations. Their deliverables were done in detail and produced on time. Iske van den Berg has undertaken several projects with us from Cenfri’s inception to date. Cenfri works in financial sector development as economists and consultants to developing countries globally, with a focus on Africa.
Across the many projects which Iske van den Berg has completed for Cenfri, her performance and professionalism has consistently met the high standards expected of Cenfri. These projects included extensive design and implementation of qualitative demandside research in a range of countries from South Africa to Myanmar and many SADC countries to inform private sector, regulator, policymaker and development partner decisions on financial systems.
